About Para 15 Trigger

Para 15 Trigger is a small online retailer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We sell one thing: the Para 15, a drop-in forced reset trigger for the mil-spec AR-15 platform. That narrow focus is deliberate, and it is worth being upfront about what it does and does not mean.

What we actually sell

One product, sold direct. The Para 15 Trigger is a self-contained three-position cassette that ships with anti-walk pins. We are not a large parts retailer, we do not carry a catalogue of competing units, and we are not an authorised dealer for the better-known manufacturers in this category. If you want the Rare Breed or the Partisan, buy it from someone who stocks it.

What we do carry is listed on the forced reset triggers page, and that is the whole of it.

Why we write the guides

Forced reset triggers are a category where the marketing is loud and the accurate information is thin. Legal status changed materially in 2025 and a lot of published material has not caught up. Terminology is contested to the point that manufacturers and retailers describe the same product differently. Buyers routinely find their trigger will not run and discover the reason is a bolt carrier nobody mentioned.

So we write the reference material we wanted to find. Our forced reset trigger guide covers the mechanism and the hardware requirements, and the state-law guide explains why the published lists of restricted states contradict each other rather than pretending they do not.

What we do not claim

We have no test lab, and we do not publish range results we did not produce. Where our guides describe how these triggers behave in use, that comes from published owner reports and manufacturer documentation, and it is attributed. We are not attorneys and nothing here is legal advice. We sell one of the products we write about, which is a commercial interest you should factor in when reading us.

The standards we hold published content to are set out in full in our editorial principles, including how we handle corrections.
